Job Description
Edmundson Mechanical Services is hiring a Licensed Plumber to join our team immediately. We are looking for a dependable, experienced professional with an Indiana Contractor’s License who can handle a mix of residential and commercial plumbing work.
This is a full-time position with consistent hours, competitive pay, and opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for:
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
Install and replace fixtures, piping, water heaters, and related equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
Ensure all work meets local codes and safety standards
Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls as needed
Requirements
Active Indiana Contractor’s License (required)
Journeyman-level or senior/lead plumbing experience
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
Ability to lift heavy equipment (including water heaters)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- On-call availability for emergencies
- Overtime opportunities available
Compensation
- $40,000 – $60,000 per year (starting pay)
(Based on experience and qualifications)
